Collection: Calcite from Lazio

Botryoidal calcite specimens from Campomorto Quarry in Lazio grow within basaltic geodes, forming rare globular crystal aggregates in warm yellow tones. A thin layer of semi-transparent secondary crystallization frequently coats the surface, lending each piece a soft, luminous quality. Set against the dark grey basalt matrix, the yellow calcite creates a striking visual contrast — sculptural in form and singular in character among Italian mineral specimens.
