Collection: Egyptian Smoky Quartz

At the heart of the Sinai Peninsula, Mount Sinai (also known as Mount Horeb or Gebel Musa) rises 2,285 meters as a remote granite massif. Smoky quartz here forms within ancient granite, often alongside microcline feldspar, in tones ranging from pale grayish-brown to soft, rose-tinted smoke, with some crystals revealing ghostly phantom banding within. Sinai’s rugged, hard-to-reach terrain has always kept material scarce, so each specimen is genuinely difficult to come by.
