A combination specimen of fluorite, calcite, and galena from Dalnegorsk in Russia's Far Eastern Primorsky Krai — one of the most celebrated fluorite localities among mineral collectors worldwide. Transparent to translucent cubic fluorite crystals interlock closely with white calcite, while silvery, metallic galena punctuates the matrix. Three minerals, three distinct textures, all on a single piece: fluorite's glassy sheen, calcite's soft warmth, and galena's quiet metallic weight.
A notable feature: under long-wave UV light, this specimen shows a dual-color fluorescent response — the fluorite glows purple while the calcite shifts to pink, with both colors appearing across the same piece. This dual-mineral fluorescence isn't present in every Dalnegorsk specimen, and adds a layer of display value beyond the mineral combination itself.
