Bologna Mineral Show 2025 — Fossils Meet Minerals
This time returning to Bologna, we brought more than fossils. At the 2025 Brothers' Stones booth, two worlds were laid out side by side. Spread across the display tables were creatures that had slept for hundreds of millions of years — mammal fossils, fish fossils, and the teeth of Megalodon, once the undisputed ruler of ancient seas. Alongside them, a cabinet full of mineral specimens: calcite in varied forms, crystals, and cabinet-quality pieces sourced from localities around the world. Two entirely different timescales, sharing the same booth — and somehow, exactly right together. The visitors at Bologna were as attentive as ever. Some crouched low against the glass, reading locality labels with a loupe. Others picked up a specimen and turned it slowly under the light, searching for the angle that made it speak. That kind of quiet focus — it never changes, no matter the year. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. Adding minerals to our table feels like the beginning of something.
