Bologna Mineral Show 2022 — When Fossils Take the Floor
March in Bologna. The lights inside the exhibition hall burn brighter than the spring sun outside. Nicolò and his brother Biagio, the founders of The Brothers' Stones, arrived once again with a table full of fossil specimens at one of Italy's most important mineral and fossil fairs — the Bologna Mineral Show. That year, fossils were our story: fish fossils, ammonites, trilobites — each one a moment frozen hundreds of millions of years ago, brought back into view under the glow of the show floor. The display stretched across the table, spanning geological eras and origins, drawing collectors and enthusiasts who leaned in close, ran their eyes along the grain of ancient stone. There is a particular silence that falls over people when they stand before something truly old. We saw it again and again that weekend in Bologna. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth.
