Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Mineral Show 2023 — When the Specimens Claimed the Floor
At Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines 2023, the most commanding pieces in The Brothers' Stones booth weren't on the display tables — they were standing on the floor. A striking rhinoceros skull and a sauropod leg fossil standing as tall as a person formed a silent gateway at the entrance to our space, stopping visitors before they'd even had a chance to take in the details. The sheer scale of them was enough. This is a different language of fossil display — not arrangement, but occupation of space. Behind them, the tables held fish fossil plates and a range of other specimens, drawing visitors from those towering giants deeper into the story of the geological record.
