Within the same specimen, hues shift from saturated blue-violet to pale lavender to near-colorless transparency — each gradation a consequence of subtle environmental changes during crystal growth. Where these transitions are visible as distinct bands, the phenomenon is known as color zoning: a geological record preserved in clarity.

The crystals here are notably transparent, with clean cubic geometry and a restrained palette that rewards close observation far more than it announces itself at a distance.
